Sioux Council is proud to offer the Wood Badge for the 21st Century Training C-03-05. It is a goal of the Boy Scouts of America that all Scouters receive Wood Badge training by the end of their second year in the Scouting program. Wood Badge for the 21st Century is the ultimate leadership training for all adult leaders who support unit, district, or council operations. While New Leader Essentials and Leader Specific Training teaches the specific skills needed to run a local Scouting program, in Wood Badge adult leaders create both a clearer vision of their role in Scouting and a better Scouting program. The end result should not only be better Scouting, but also a more capable you! Within these web pages you’ll find more information on the course.

This unique training course is offered over three weekends: 10:00am—3:00pm on Saturday, March 19th in Volga, SD. This is an introductory session. 8:00am Friday April 1st through 4:00pm Sunday April 3rd at the Lewis & Clark Scout Reservation near Yankton, SD. 8:00am Friday April 22nd through 4:00pm Sunday April 24th at the Lewis & Clark Scout Reservation near Yankton, SD.
